Wärtsilä Bulkhead Restrictor
The Wärtsilä Floodguard restrictor is a self-activating bulkhead restrictor, designed to ensure that compartments traversed by the propulsion shaft are not compromised in the event of flooding, thus maintaining the vessel’s compartment integrity during static or dynamic operation to get the vessel to shore.

Thrust Bearings
DMS thrust bearing solutions are single collar, self-aligning thrust bearings. The bearings have two faces of tilting pads on pivots and transmit thrust from the shaft to the bearing housing minimizing the tilting effect and reducing stress levels.
High Friction Couplings

WÄRTSILÄ OHSN-BX HIGH FRICTION COUPLINGS — Cylindrical shaft end to cylindrical shaft end connection. — Specially designed for installations with controllable pitch propellers. — Allows a greater distance between shafts, avoiding the use of distance rings.
